Benny, a little baby bison, wandered through the meadows of Yellowstone, feeling a bit scared and alone. Benny looked around, searching for any sign of his mommy. He felt the warmth of the sun on his back but missed the comforting nuzzle of his mom.
As Benny slowly trotted forward, he heard a rustling sound. Out popped a clever little squirrel, twitching its bushy tail. Squirrel introduced himself with a cheerful smile.
"Hello, young bison! You look lost. Can I help you?"
With a new friend by his side, Benny felt a bit braver. The two of them wandered until they heard a soft hooting from above. They looked up to see a wise old owl perched on a branch. Owl blinked slowly as if pondering their predicament.
"I know of a place where bison often gather," the owl said, pointing with one wing towards the setting sun. "Head west, little one."
As they continued their journey, a playful fox darted in front of them, a mischievous glint in its eye. Fox wagged his tail excitedly, eager to join the adventure.
"I've seen your herd by the riverbank," he announced, pointing in the direction with his nose. "Follow me!"
With the help of his new friends, Benny reached the riverbank. There, among the other bison, he spotted his mommy. Her eyes widened with relief as she rushed to nuzzle him.
"I found you, Mommy!" Benny exclaimed joyfully.
Benny turned to his friends, grateful for their guidance.
"Thank you all for helping me find my way back!" he said, giving each one a gentle nudge. They all smiled, knowing they had made a difference in his journey.
With a final wave, Benny joined his herd, surrounded by love and the promise of new adventures.
