A nervous little boy named Oliver stands at the edge of the playground, adjusting his glasses anxiously as he watches his classmates play. He clutches his lunchbox tightly, his heart pounding in his chest.
A group of kids, led by a girl named Mia, notices Oliver standing alone. "Hey, new kid, want to join us?" she calls out with a friendly smile. Oliver hesitates, then nods slowly, his heart lifting a little.
Another boy, Alex, offers Oliver a piece of his chocolate. "I heard you like comics. Do you have a favorite superhero?" Oliver smiles shyly, "I think Spider-Man is pretty cool. My mom always says we should stay true to who we are, just like him."
Mia tags Oliver, who surprises everyone with his speed and agility. "You're really fast, Oliver!" she exclaims, "Why were you so nervous to play with us?" "I guess I was afraid you wouldn’t like me," he admits. "Well, we're glad you're here," Mia replies kindly.
Oliver walks with Mia and Alex, feeling a sense of belonging he hadn’t expected. "See you tomorrow, Oliver?" Alex asks. "Definitely," Oliver replies, a genuine smile spreading across his face.
Oliver thinks about his mom’s words and how staying true to himself led to new friendships. He feels a warm glow inside, knowing he has found his place.
