Omar, a bright-eyed boy with a halo of tight coiled hair, takes a deep breath as he looks at the clock ticking on the wall. Tyson, his brindle boxer, watched every move with alert devotion, tongue lolling out in a hopeful grin. The room smells faintly of pancakes from downstairs, and outside, birds sing in the cool morning air"Do you think they'll let you come with me,Tyson ?" "Woof!" came the enthusiastic reply, as if to say, Of course they will!
Omar adjusts his backpack and watches Tyson leap joyfully over a puddle. Cars rumble past, and other children wave with excitement as they hurry towards the school,their laughter filling the air. Tyson pauses to sniff a mailbox, tail wagging. "I hope the teacher likes dogs," Woof woof!"
A friendly teacher with glasses and a gentle smile wave them over. The playground echoes with shouts and the clatter of sneakers on pavement. Tyson sits obediently, eyes wide with curiosity. Ms. Harper, Teacher, kind, and welcoming. "Hello there! Who's this brave explorer and his furry friend?" "I'm Omar .This is Tyson. He's my best friend."
Omar sits in his assigned seat, glancing nervously at the other children. Some giggle and whisper eyes sparkling with curiosity. Tyson settles at Omar's feet, head resting on his paws. "Tyson can stay for circle time today," Really? That would be awesome! Thank you Ms. Harper!"
One by one children introduce themselves and share stories about their pets. Tyson become the star, accepting pats and giggling hugs. Omar's nerves begin to fade, replaced by wide smiles and laughter. " Tyson loves to play fetch. And he always makes me feel brave,"
Omar beams, clutching a drawing of him and Tyson made by one of the other children . The air is filled with laughter and the promise of many more adventures. Tyson wags his tail, proud to have helped make the first day of school unforgettable. "I cant wait to come back tomorrow, Tyson," "Woof"
