Mintu wandered through the forest, his delicate hooves barely making a sound on the soft earth. "Another beautiful day," he thought, though his heart felt a twinge of loneliness. The forest was his home, yet he had no friends to share it with.
Mintu paused, his curiosity piqued by the sight. "Why are you crying, little one?" he asked gently.
Chotu looked up, his eyes wide with surprise and relief. "I'm hungry and can't find anything to eat," he replied, his voice a soft whisper.
Mintu nodded with understanding. "Come with me; I know a place where you can eat," he said warmly. Leading Chotu through the forest, Mintu guided him to a lush meadow. Chotu's eyes lit up as he eagerly nibbled on the fresh grass.
"Thank you, Mintu," Chotu beamed, a smile spreading across his face. From that moment, a bond of friendship blossomed between them.
Every day, Mintu and Chotu shared adventures. They played among the towering trees and marveled at the beauty of their world. Mintu felt less shy with Chotu by his side, and Chotu felt braver exploring the forest with Mintu.
One afternoon, a shadow fell over their happiness. A hunter had entered the forest, his presence a threat to all creatures. Chotu trembled as he whispered, "We must leave quickly, Mintu."
Mintu hesitated, his eyes filled with concern. "I can't leave you here alone," he insisted, determined to protect his friend.
Chotu, quick-thinking and clever, devised a plan. He nudged a large stone into the hunter's trap, causing a loud clatter that drew the hunter's attention away. Mintu and Chotu seized the moment and darted down the hidden trail, their hearts pounding with fear and hope.
Reaching the edge of the forest, they paused to catch their breath, relief washing over them. "We did it," Mintu sighed, his voice filled with gratitude.
"Together, we can face anything," Chotu replied, his eyes gleaming with the joy of their unbreakable friendship.
