Isaac is seven years old, with unruly brown hair and bright, curious eyes. He watches the world with wonder, always eager to learn and help. Beside him sits Freddie, a timid goose whose wings flutter nervously each time a bird flies overhead.
"Don't worry, Freddie," Isaac says gently, stroking the goose's soft feathers. "One day, you’ll soar higher than any of them."

Isaac stands at the edge of the runway, his arms outstretched. Freddie waddles behind, unsure but trusting his friend. "Let’s practice flapping your wings, just like this," Isaac encourages, demonstrating with exaggerated motions.
"But what if I fall?" Freddie quacks, worry flickering in his eyes. "Everyone falls sometimes," Isaac replies warmly, "but you’ll have me here to help you back up."

Freddie's wings flap frantically, but he tumbles into the grass, feathers ruffled and pride bruised. Isaac rushes over, concern etched on his face. Kneeling beside his friend, "It’s okay, Freddie. You’re braver than you know. Let’s try again—this time, slower," Isaac says, voice full of encouragement.

Isaac sits cross-legged, watching Freddie muster his courage. "Remember, flying isn’t just about wings, Freddie. It’s about believing you can," Isaac says, a smile lighting up his face. "I want to try again," Freddie quacks, determination growing in his eyes.

With Isaac cheering him on, Freddie races forward, flapping his wings with all his strength. For a brief moment, he lifts off the ground, gliding a few feet before landing gracefully. "I did it, Isaac! I really did it!"
"You flew, Freddie! I knew you could!" Isaac laughs, rushing to hug his friend. Their joy echoes across the meadow, mingling with the songs of the birds.

Freddie nestles close to Isaac, a newfound confidence shining in his eyes. "Thank you for never giving up on me," Freddie says quietly.
"We'll have many more adventures, Freddie. And next time, we’ll fly even higher," Isaac replies, as the stars twinkle above and the meadow settles into peaceful silence.
