Ben wandered through the park, his thoughts adrift like the fallen leaves at his feet. His gaze danced across the playground, the laughter of children echoing in the crisp air. Suddenly, his eyes widened as he spotted a towering figure—a giantess, her silhouette striking against the azure sky. Panic surged through him, and he bolted down the path, his heart pounding with every step.
Nala called out, her voice gentle yet carrying across the distance. "Wait! I'm not going to hurt you!" But Ben's fear propelled him forward, pushing him into the maze of alleyways that bordered the park.
Ben pressed himself against the wall, trying to catch his breath. Just as the robbers moved in, a familiar figure swung down from above. Spider-Man, with his iconic red and blue suit, landed gracefully between Ben and danger. "Looks like you could use a hand," he quipped, springing into action.
As Spider-Man deftly subdued the robbers, one managed to slip past him, lunging for Ben. With surprising speed, Nala intervened, her massive hand gently yet firmly pushing the assailant away. She knelt down, extending her hand towards Ben. "I only wanted to be friends," she explained, her eyes earnest.
Ben hesitated, then reached out, placing his hand in hers. Slowly, he climbed onto her palm, and she lifted him gently onto her shoulder. "I'm sorry I ran," he mumbled, a smile beginning to form. "It's okay," Nala replied warmly. Spider-Man watched with approval, knowing this was a beginning of a unique friendship.
Playing with Nala was unlike anything Ben had experienced, but he found comfort in her company. As they talked, he realized that friendship could come in the most unexpected forms. Ben knew that no matter the challenges, Nala would always be there for him, a loyal friend and protector.
