Frosty looked around with a wistful gaze, watching the children play and laugh. Their joy echoed through the frosty air, yet he felt a pang of loneliness. "If only I had someone to share these moments with," he thought, his coal eyes reflecting the twinkling lights strung across the village.
Lila paused in front of Frosty, tilting her head. "Hello there, Mr. Snowman," she greeted, her voice a gentle whisper in the night. Frosty felt a warmth fill his heart, a strange sensation for a snowman.
"Hello, little one," he replied, surprised by his own voice. Lila giggled, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Can you talk? That's amazing!" she exclaimed, clapping her mittened hands.
Lila tugged at Frosty's twig hand, leading him through the village. "Let's spread some holiday cheer!" she declared, her enthusiasm contagious. Together, they decorated trees, left small gifts on doorsteps, and even built miniature snowmen to surprise the villagers.
"Thank you, Lila," Frosty said, his voice filled with gratitude. Lila smiled, her cheeks rosy from the cold. "You're not lonely anymore, Mr. Snowman. You have all of us now," she replied, squeezing his arm gently.
Frosty watched as the villagers celebrated, feeling a sense of belonging for the first time. "This is what I've always wished for," he thought, his heart swelling with joy. Lila stood by his side, knowing they had made a difference.
"Merry Christmas, Frosty," Lila whispered, her voice filled with love. "Merry Christmas, Lila," Frosty replied, knowing that he would never feel lonely again.
