Jamie, a boy with tousled hair and bright eyes, clutches a half-eaten bag of chips. He longs to join the game but feels too sluggish to move.
"Why am I always so tired during practice?" he wonders aloud, watching the other kids dart across the field with ease.
Coach Rivera, supportive and encouraging, kneels beside Jamie.
"You’ve got a big heart, Jamie. Maybe it’s time to think about what’s fueling your body. Strong players need strong energy!"
Jamie nods, puzzled but curious as he glances at his snack and then at his energetic friends.
Grandma Rose, with twinkling eyes and flour-dusted hands, welcomes Jamie for the weekend. Grandpa Joe, cheerful and strong, slices apples for a snack.
"You look tired, sweetheart. Let’s whip up something special together," she suggests, guiding him to the counter.
"Football players need more than just tasty snacks," Grandpa Joe explains, offering Jamie a bowl of yogurt mixed with fruit and nuts.
"I didn’t know healthy foods could look so good," Jamie marvels, taking a bite and feeling a new spark of energy.
"Look at you go, Jamie! What’s your secret?" calls Coach Rivera.
"I learned that eating the right foods gives me the power to play my best," Jamie responds, grinning as he scores a goal with newfound strength.
Jamie feels proud, knowing that a few simple changes made all the difference. As the last rays of sunlight fade, he promises himself to always fuel his dreams with good choices.
"I can’t wait for our next game!" he says, already eager for tomorrow’s adventures.
