Gabriel sat at his desk, tapping his pencil rhythmically, his eyes darting around the room in search of something more interesting than the algebra problems in front of him. His classmates were focused on their work, but Gabriel couldn't help but feel the urge to disrupt the monotony.
Ms. Thompson, the teacher, noticed Gabriel's restlessness. "Gabriel, please focus on your assignment," she said, her voice carrying a hint of exasperation. Gabriel merely shrugged, humming to himself as he doodled on the margins of his notebook.
"Gabriel, if you continue to disrupt the class, I'll have no choice but to write you up," Ms. Thompson warned, her tone serious. Gabriel looked up at her, the mischief fading from his eyes as he realized the gravity of her words.
Gabriel hesitated, glancing at his classmates who were now paying attention. With a sigh, he nodded and picked up his pencil. "Okay, Ms. Thompson, I'll do my assignment on Story.com," he conceded, a reluctant smile tugging at his lips.
Ms. Thompson gave a satisfied nod, returning to the front of the class with a sense of accomplishment. Gabriel focused on his assignment, the once chaotic classroom now a quiet hum of productivity.
Gabriel felt a sense of pride as he completed his work. Ms. Thompson smiled warmly at him, "Well done, Gabriel," she praised. Gabriel grinned, a newfound respect for his teacher and the class taking root in his heart.
