Geo Umizoomi tiptoed between the ferns, his eyes wide with excitement as he collected pinecones for his latest counting game. Shafts of golden light danced across his blue suit, and every rustle in the undergrowth made his heart beat a little faster. The deeper he wandered, the quieter the woods became.
Suddenly, a swirling white shape appeared above a fallen log, glowing faintly. A mysterious, echoing voice boomed through the trees, "I’m the ghost of the forest! Who dares to invade my forest?" The sound sent chills down Geo’s spine, and his legs trembled.
Geo spun around and bolted, his small feet pounding the earth. His breath came in quick gasps as he darted past mossy rocks and ducked under low-hanging branches. Every snap of a twig behind him made him run faster.

Geo rushed up to Papa Bear, barely able to catch his breath. "Papa Bear, there’s a ghost in the forest! It scared me and said I shouldn’t be here," he cried, clutching Papa Bear’s furry paw.

"Let’s see what’s really going on, Geo. Sometimes things aren’t what they seem," Papa Bear said, giving Geo a gentle squeeze. Together, they moved carefully through the undergrowth, listening for any strange noises. The ghostly voice echoed again, but this time, Papa Bear noticed something odd—a pair of muddy boots peeking out from behind a bush.

Max emerged, shaking with laughter. "Gotcha, Geo! I wanted to play a trick and see if anyone would believe in the ghost of the forest," he squeaked. Geo blinked in surprise, then joined in the laughter with Papa Bear, relieved and happy to have his friend back by his side.
