Dora was walking with several Nick Jr. friends through the park, smiling as the sunlight shimmered on the grass. Suddenly, a ghost drifted out from behind a tree, glowing white and wobbling through the air with a soft moan. The happy sounds of the park faded as everyone froze, staring wide-eyed at the spooky visitor. "Oh no, everybody, look! A ghost is floating right toward us, and it looks really scary!"
The Nick Jr. characters gasped together, their knees shaking as the ghost swooped lower over the path. Some pointed at it, and others clutched each other while the cold wind made the leaves spin around their feet. Then the ghost gave a louder howl, and panic burst through the group all at once. "Aaaah! Run for your lives! That ghost is chasing us, and we have to get away right now!"
Dora ran as fast as she could, her backpack bouncing while the others hurried beside her. Their shoes pounded the path, and their screams echoed across the playground as they searched for someone who could help them. At the end of the path, they spotted Geo Umizoomi, standing near a colorful garden filled with giant shapes and toy blocks. "Geo, please help us! A ghost scared us in the park, and it chased us all the way here!"
Geo Umizoomi turned quickly, his eyes full of concern but his face calm and brave. He listened as the frightened group crowded around him, all talking at once and pointing back toward the park. The wind carried another spooky moan from the distance, making everyone huddle even closer. "Don't worry, everyone. If a ghost is causing trouble, then we'll think of a clever way to scare it away together."
Geo Umizoomi looked around the garden and suddenly smiled when he noticed the lion costumes from a costume party. He remembered that sometimes even spooky things could be frightened by something unexpected and loud. The others watched as he hurried to the costume trunk and lifted out several lion outfits with bright yellow fur and giant paws. "I have an idea. We'll wear these lion costumes, stand together, and give the ghost such a big surprise that it will run away instead of chasing us."
The Nick Jr. characters stopped trembling and began to feel a little braver as they put on the costumes. Dora helped straighten the manes, and soon the whole group looked like a team of playful lions ready for a grand performance. Even though they were still nervous, they stood taller when they saw each other dressed up. "If we stay together and roar loudly, maybe the ghost will get scared and leave us alone for good!"
Geo Umizoomi raised a hand to signal everyone to stay quiet until the ghost floated into the center of the garden. The ghost looked around proudly, thinking the frightened friends had nowhere left to go. Then, at Geo's signal, the bushes burst open and the lion-costumed team leaped out together. "Now, everyone, roar as loudly as you can and show the ghost that we are not afraid anymore!"
Dora and the Nick Jr. characters stomped their feet, waved their furry paws, and let out huge roaring sounds that rolled across the garden. The lion costumes bounced and swished, making the group look much bigger and wilder than the ghost expected. The ghost's round eyes widened in terror as it drifted backward, shaking from head to toe. "Roooaar! We are big lions, and this is our park, so you should run away right now!"
The ghost had been brave when everyone was scared, but now it was the one screaming and running for its life. It flapped through the air in a panicked zigzag, terrified by the lion costumes and the thunderous roars. In moments, the park was peaceful again, and the cold feeling in the air vanished completely. "Yay! We did it! The ghost got scared by the lion costumes and ran away!"
Each Nick Jr. character jumped up and down with joy, laughing and clapping in relief after the frightening chase. "Yay! The ghost is gone, and we were brave when we worked together!" Geo Umizoomi grinned proudly at the team and lifted his hands in celebration. "Yay! Great job, everyone. Your courage and teamwork helped scare the ghost away!"
Later, Dora hurried home, still smiling from the adventure and eager to tell her mom everything that had happened. Inside the cozy house, the lights were warm, and the smell of dinner floated through the air as her mom listened with surprise. Dora waved her arms as she described the ghost, the running, Geo's plan, and the lion costumes. "Mom, a ghost scared us in the park, and we ran to Geo Umizoomi for help. Then Geo helped all of us wear lion costumes, and the ghost got so scared that it screamed and ran away!"
Dora’s mom smiled warmly, proud that everyone had worked together to solve the problem. The house felt safe and cheerful, and Dora's exciting story ended with laughter instead of fear. Outside, the evening stars began to twinkle over a peaceful neighborhood. "That was a very scary day, but I am so proud of you and your friends for being brave, helping one another, and turning a frightening moment into a happy ending."
