Geo Umizoomi was finishing his last spin on the merry-go-round when a chill swept over the park. Suddenly, a pale, floating shape drifted from behind the slide, its edges shimmering like mist. Geo Umizoomi's heart raced as the ghostly figure let out a low, eerie moan, sending shivers down his spine.
Geo Umizoomi ran as fast as his legs could carry him, glancing over his shoulder every few steps. His breath came in short gasps, and his mind whirled with fear. "There's a ghost in the park! A real ghost!" he cried, hoping someone would hear him.
Geo Umizoomi burst inside, nearly tripping over a plush block. Milli, his clever friend with her bright pink hair, looked up from her drawing. "Milli! You won't believe it—I saw a ghost and it chased me all the way here!" Milli raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. "A ghost? Are you sure it wasn't just your imagination, Geo?"
Milli scanned the area, her eyes sharp. Geo Umizoomi clung to her side, peering nervously around. "Let’s split up and look for clues. If there’s a ghost, I want to meet it," Milli whispered, her voice steady and brave. The two crept toward the slide, careful not to make a sound.
Bot, their silly robot friend, sits up and waves sheepishly. "Surprise! I was just pretending to be a ghost for the costume party tomorrow," he laughs, his gears whirring. Geo Umizoomi lets out a huge sigh of relief, while Milli bursts out laughing. "Bot! You scared me half to pieces!"
Milli gives Geo Umizoomi a reassuring pat on the back. "Next time, I'll make sure to tell you about my costume first!" Geo Umizoomi grins, knowing he has the bravest—and silliest—friends in all of Umi City.
