Geo Umizoomi bounded from the car, his backpack bouncing with every excited step. The air shimmered with the scent of pine needles and roasting marshmallows. He glanced around, his eyes wide with anticipation, ready for his first night camping alone with his mom.
Geo Umizoomi sat close to the fire, his hands wrapped around a mug of cocoa. Suddenly, a strange green glow flickered behind the trees, and a tall, wobbly figure with big black eyes stepped into view. "M-mom! I think I see an alien!" he whispered, voice trembling, as he grabbed his flashlight and dashed into the woods.
Geo Umizoomi's heart pounded as he ran. Suddenly, a long neck rose from a nearby pond, shimmering and scaly—an unmistakable silhouette of the Loch Ness Monster. "Not another one!" he yelped, turning sharply. As he stumbled through the underbrush, huge footprints appeared in the mud ahead.
A hulking yeti lumbered into the clearing, snowflakes clinging to its fur. Beside it, a shadowy Bigfoot watched silently. Geo Umizoomi could barely breathe as he darted back toward camp, convinced the monsters were close behind. Branches snapped, and the night buzzed with tension.

Geo Umizoomi burst into the tent, breathless and wild-eyed. "Mom, you won’t believe what I saw—an alien, Nessie, a yeti and Bigfoot! They were all out there chasing me!" Geo's Mom pulled him close, giving him a comforting hug. "Let’s look it up together, Geo. Sometimes, things aren’t what they seem."
Geo's Mom and Geo Umizoomi clicked through images, comparing them to what Geo Umizoomi saw. "Look, Geo—those 'monsters' were just other campers in costumes for the forest scavenger hunt. That glow was a lantern, Nessie was a pool float, and the yeti and Bigfoot were just your friends Milli and Bot dressed up!" Geo Umizoomi giggled as his fear melted away, and the night outside seemed far less mysterious. "Next time, maybe I’ll join the monster parade!"
