Geo[/@ch_1], a cheerful boy with a toolbelt and orange hair, builds a tall tower.]
Geo hummed happily, stacking his shiny red blocks higher and higher, the tower casting a long shadow across the warm sand. The air smelled of fresh-cut grass and distant ice cream, everything peaceful in their favorite play spot. Little did he know, a pair of sneaky purple eyes watched from behind a nearby bush.
Suddenly, a ghostly shape floated out, moaning loudly with hollow eyes piercing the dimness. Geo froze, his block tower toppling in slow motion onto the sand. "Aaaah! A real ghost! It's coming right for me—help!" he screamed, dropping his tools and bolting away in terror, heart pounding as he dashed through the playground gates.
Geo[/@ch_1] bursts in, panting.]
Milli, a brave girl with pink hair and a pattern skirt, and Bot, a friendly blue robot with glowing screen eyes, jumped up from their game. Geo collapsed on a bean bag, face pale. "Guys, I saw a ghost in the playground! It was all white and floaty with scary eyes—it chased me! We have to do something!"
"Whoa, slow down, Geo! Tell us everything from the beginning. Was it super tall? Did it make spooky sounds like 'boo'?" Milli said, grabbing her measuring tape to calm him. Bot scanned the room with his lights. "Don't worry, buddy! My sensors detect no ghosts here, but let's investigate together. Team Umizoomi always solves the mystery!"
The team crept forward, using Bot's night vision to spot clues. Milli measured the footprints—perfect monkey size. "It's not a ghost, Geo! Look, those are paw prints from the Purple Monkey. He loves pranks and dressed up in that sheet to scare you!" Geo blinked in relief, a smile returning.
"Affirmative! Purple Monkey gets super scared of his own ghost tricks. Remember last time? We can turn the tables with Umi-power!" The friends high-fived, grabbing white sheets from the treehouse supplies.
Geo, Milli, and Bot quickly made ghost costumes, just like the monkey's—white sheets with cut-out eyes painted neon green. "Okay, team, let's remember how he scared me: floaty moves and big moooans. We'll do it better and make him run!" They practiced floating and wailing, shadows dancing on the walls.
Purple Monkey, a fuzzy prankster with twinkling eyes and a curly tail, chuckled to himself, ready for round two. But whoosh—three ghosts appeared, moaning deeply: "Oooooh, we're the Umi ghosts, and we're here to haunt you back for scaring our friend!" "You thought it was fun, but now feel the chill—boo with extra shivers!" "Ghost mode activated: maximum scare power! Run if you dare!"
Purple Monkey yelped, eyes bulging, dropping his sheet as he sprinted away, tail straight up, crashing through bushes into the night.
Geo pumped his fist, beaming. "Yay! We did it, team! The Purple Monkey won't prank us again anytime soon." Hugs all around, the best friends ever.
