The Nick Jr. friends were walking together along the sidewalk, remembering fun Halloween stories they had watched before. Dora, Boots, Blue, Josh, and PAW Patrol pups admired the decorations and listened to leaves rustling across the street. "This Halloween night feels exciting, and maybe a little spooky too, but if we stay together, we can be brave and have fun," said Dora.
They talked about the time they remembered watching Bubble Guppies Haunted House Party and Franklin the Turtle’s Halloween. The memories made the night feel playful at first, with glowing windows, candy buckets, and soft mist curling around the yards. "Those stories had silly scares and surprising costumes, and I think tonight might have a few surprises waiting for us too," said Josh.
Without warning, three figures jumped out from behind a hedge and an old gate. It was Swiper the Fox, the Cute Crook, and Maximo the Elf, all grinning as they tried to frighten the Nick Jr. characters. "You didn’t expect to see us tonight, did you, because Halloween is the perfect time for a big spooky surprise!" cried Swiper the Fox.
The Nick Jr. friends gasped, stumbled backward, and then ran for their lives screaming down the moonlit street. Candy wrappers fluttered behind them, and their footsteps echoed past fences, bushes, and glowing jack-o’-lanterns. "That was too scary, and we need help right now before they jump out at us again!" shouted Boots as everyone hurried away.
The frightened group found Geo Umizoomi and quickly gathered around him, still breathing hard from running. They told him everything that had happened, pointing back toward the dark path where Swiper the Fox, the Cute Crook, and Maximo the Elf had appeared. "They scared us so badly that we ran all the way here, and now we don’t know how to make them stop," said Blue.
Geo Umizoomi listened carefully, then looked at the basket beside him and smiled with a clever idea. Inside were white ghost costumes, soft and floaty, with round eye holes and fluttering hems that glowed in the lamplight. "If they wanted to scare you, then maybe we can give them a spooky surprise of our own, just like when Mr. Owl and Bubble Puppy scared the Bubble Guppies and Franklin the Turtle and his friends on Halloween nights," said Geo Umizoomi.
The Nick Jr. friends remembered those Halloween moments and began to feel less afraid. They slipped into the ghost costumes, and soon the group looked like a floating parade of friendly spirits drifting in the moonlight. "I remember how everyone got surprised in those Halloween shows, and now we can be brave together and use a spooky trick to scare the mean pranksters away," said Dora.
Geo Umizoomi helped arrange everyone carefully behind the bushes and trees so the ghostly shapes would appear all at once. The white costumes shimmered in the breeze, and the dim light made them look extra mysterious. "We’re ready, and this time we won’t run away, because we’re going to turn this scary night into a brave and funny victory," said PAW Patrol pups.
Soon Swiper the Fox, the Cute Crook, and Maximo the Elf came sneaking back, expecting to scare everyone again. Instead, the ghost-costumed friends rose up from behind the hedges and trees with waving arms and fluttering sheets, looking like a whole crowd of Halloween spirits. "Ghosts, ghosts, run away, because this is too spooky for me and I do not want to stay here another second!" cried the Cute Crook.
The three troublemakers got scared back just as badly as the heroes had been scared before. They ran for their lives screaming down the street, just like the Bubble Guppies and Franklin the Turtle and friends had done in their Halloween stories. "I’m out of here, because those ghosts are far too frightening for me tonight!" yelled Maximo the Elf as he raced after the others.
The Nick Jr. friends pulled off their ghost costumes and burst into relieved laughter. Dora clapped her hands and smiled brightly at everyone who had helped. "Yay, we did it, and we were brave together, and now Swiper, the Cute Crook, and Maximo ran away instead of scaring us!" said Dora.
After that, the Nick Jr. characters went home and told their moms what had happened on Halloween night. Their moms listened with wide eyes, then hugged them proudly for being brave, clever, and kind to one another. "It started as a scary night, but with help from Geo and our ghost costumes, it turned into a story we’ll always remember," said Josh as the moon shone gently over the peaceful street.
