Emma, a four-year-old girl with curly blonde hair and pink overalls, jumps up from her coloring book, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Lucas, her six-year-old brother with messy brown hair and a superhero t-shirt, stands beside her, clutching a toy car.
"Look, Lucas! A puppy! Is he ours?"
"I think so! Mom said God sends us wonderful surprises,"
Mom enters, her smile warm and welcoming, holding a soft blue blanket.
"God made all creatures, and He gave us this little dog as a blessing,"
"Thank you, God, for our puppy!"
Emma giggles, watching the puppy chase his tail in circles. Lucas tosses a soft ball, and the puppy leaps after it, his ears flopping.
"He’s so happy! Do you think he knows God loves him too?"
"Every good thing comes from God. He loves us and all His creatures,"
"I want to help take care of him every day,"
"Me too! We can thank God by loving him,"
"That’s right! God teaches us to love and care for all His gifts,"
Emma picks a daisy and gently tucks it behind the puppy’s ear. Lucas stands nearby, watching the clouds drift by.
"The world is so beautiful! God made everything for us to enjoy,"
"Thank you, God, for making our puppy and flowers and butterflies,"
"Let’s pray and thank God for His wonderful gifts,"
"Dear God, thank you for our puppy. Thank you for loving us and giving us all good things,"
"Help us to take care of him and show Your love every day,"
"Goodnight, little puppy. God watches over you,"
"We love you, because God first loved us,"
Even as they sleep, God’s goodness surrounds them, reminding them that every good thing comes from Him.
