Greyson stepped into the preschool with wide eyes and a heart full of excitement. The room buzzed with laughter as children explored their new surroundings. Brightly colored posters of numbers and letters adorned the walls, inviting young minds to learn.
Greyson was drawn to a girl with curly hair who was playing with a talking robot. Lila, her name tag read. "Hi, I'm Greyson!" he announced, eager to make a new friend. "This robot can say the alphabet!" Lila beamed, pressing a button that made the robot recite the letters.
Billy, a boy with a dinosaur T-shirt, caught Greyson's attention. "Do you like dinosaurs?" Billy asked, holding up a T-Rex. "Yeah! They're so cool," Greyson replied, joining him on the mat. They roared playfully, pretending to be dinosaurs stomping through a jungle.
The teacher called the children to gather around the block area for a counting game. Greyson, Lila, and Billy sat together, eagerly stacking blocks one by one. "Let's count together!" Lila suggested. "One, two, three..." they chanted in unison, their voices filled with joy.
The teacher picked up a guitar and began strumming the familiar tune of the alphabet song. Greyson, Lila, and Billy swayed to the melody, singing each letter with glee. "L, M, N, O, P!" they sang, giggling as they stumbled over the tricky parts.
Greyson, Lila, and Billy ran outside, hand in hand, their laughter echoing across the yard. "I can't wait to come back tomorrow," Greyson exclaimed, his heart full of happiness and new friendships. "Me too!" Lila and Billy agreed, their smiles as bright as the setting sun.
