Star-Lord checked his navigation system, ensuring their landing was smooth. Gamora glanced out the window, her eyes narrowing at the sight of Timmy Turner and his elves scrambling around a peculiar contraption. "Looks like we've got our work cut out for us," Star-Lord quipped.
Rocket examined the laser cannon with a critical eye, his paws deftly maneuvering over its controls. Groot stood nearby, ready to assist. "This thing's got more firepower than a Nova Corps cruiser," Rocket muttered. Meanwhile, Drax watched the perimeter, ever vigilant for Dark Laser's robotic minions.
Dark Laser appeared atop a nearby hill, his cape billowing dramatically. "You can't stop me, Guardians! The Earth will bow before my power!" he declared. Gamora and Star-Lord charged forward, engaging the enemy with calculated precision. Timmy focused on the cannon, his elves working tirelessly to dismantle it.
Jean Claude Van Ramme, with a stern expression and the rule book in hand, approaches Timmy. "I'm afraid these elves must come with me. It's against the rules for children to have them," he stated. Gamora steps forward, a defiant look in her eyes. "Let's see what those rules really say," she challenged.
"It says here that this rule only applies to earthlings," Gamora announced, a triumphant smile on her face. Star-Lord chuckled, "Looks like we're in the clear then!" The elves cheered, their small voices rising in a chorus of relief.
Star-Lord clapped Timmy on the shoulder, "You've got some brave little helpers there," he said with admiration. Timmy beamed, "Couldn't have done it without you guys," he admitted. As the Guardians prepared to depart, Groot offered a simple yet heartfelt farewell, "I am Groot."
