Harishna stood in her backyard, her eyes wide with wonder as she gazed up at the vast expanse above. "Mommy, what's up there in the sky?" she asked, her voice tinged with excitement. Mommy smiled softly, kneeling beside her daughter. "The solar system, full of planets and wonders," she explained, pointing to the stars.
Harishna closed her eyes, clutching the helmet to her chest. In her mind, a countdown began. "3, 2, 1… Blast off!" she whispered, imagining herself soaring into the cosmos. Her room transformed into the cockpit of a spaceship, the posters now windows to the universe.
"It gives us light and keeps us warm!" Harishna cheered, her voice echoing in the silent void as she zoomed past the bright, hot Sun. She zoomed onward, her gaze fixed on a small, swift-moving planet. Mercury, the speedy little planet, greeted her with a cheeky grin.
"Hello, Mercury! You're so small and speedy!" she giggled, waving goodbye as she moved on to a cloud-covered world. "Venus, your golden clouds are so shiny!" she marveled, her fingers grazing the shimmering atmosphere. Next came Earth, her home. "Earth! My home! It has air, water, and animals!" Harishna exclaimed, feeling a swell of pride.
"Mars, you look like a big, red rock!" she observed, brushing her hand through the dusty surface. Her adventure continued with Jupiter, the giant with swirly stripes. "Wow, Jupiter! You're the biggest of them all!" she shouted, feeling dwarfed by its magnitude. As she passed Saturn's golden rings, she couldn't help but imagine a cosmic hula hoop. "Saturn, your rings look like a hula hoop!" she chuckled, spinning around in delight.
"Hello, Uranus! You spin sideways like a rolling ball!" Harishna called out, her voice carried by the wind. Finally, she reached Neptune, its color a serene, calming blue. "Neptune, your deep blue color is so pretty!" she sighed, feeling a sense of peace. As she floated back to Earth, her eyes grew heavy with sleep. "I love learning about space!" she whispered, snuggling into her bed as Mommy tucked her in. "Goodnight, my little astronaut," Mommy said, planting a kiss on her forehead.
