Henry awoke with a burst of energy, his bright blonde hair tousled from sleep. With a big smile, he grabbed his hockey stick and put on his trusty helmet. "Today's going to be a great day for hockey!" he declared to himself. He rushed to the kitchen, where the comforting aroma of pancakes wafted through the air.
Mom, her long blonde hair catching the sunlight, greeted him with a warm smile. "Good morning, my little hockey star! Eat up, you'll need lots of energy today," she encouraged. Henry eagerly dug into his pancakes, savoring each bite. The sweet berries added a burst of flavor, fueling his excitement for the day ahead.
Henry raced outside, his imagination turning the warm grass into a frozen ice rink. He practiced his hockey moves, pretending to glide effortlessly, shooting invisible pucks and scoring goal after goal. "And he scores! The crowd goes wild!" he shouted, his laughter ringing through the air. His two brothers, Logan and Trent , joined him, their faces full of brotherly pride.
"Hey, Henry, want to head to the park?" asked Logan. "Yeah! Let's set up our rink," Henry replied eagerly. Together, they carried their gear to the park, finding the perfect spot under the shade of a big oak tree. As they played, time seemed to fly, the sun casting long shadows as it began its descent for the day.
After returning home, Henry and his brothers practiced hockey skills in the yard. As Mom watched from the kitchen window, her heart swelled with love and comfort, watching her three sons bond over the passion for the game. The cool evening air wrapped around Henry like a comforting blanket as he took one last shot, imagining the cheers of an adoring crowd.
Henry snuggled into his bed, still wearing his gloves and helmet, his hockey stick tucked beside him like a treasured companion. Mom leaned down, placing a tender kiss on his forehead as she tucked him in tight. "Goodnight, my littlest champion," she whispered. Henry mumbled sleepily, "Goodnight, Momma. Tomorrow's another hockey day." And with that, he drifted off to sleep, dreaming of goals and victories yet to come.
