On a soft, quiet night, with stars twinkling like tiny wishes in the sky, a little child lay awake in bed.
The room was very still, and the dark felt just a little too big.
The child folded their hands and whispered, “God… I wish I felt brave.”
Just then, a soft, cozy glow filled the room—warm like a nightlight and gentle like a lullaby.
Out of the glow came a tiny bunny, with fur as soft as moonlight and eyes shining with kindness.
Hope, a fluffy bunny with ultra-soft fur, slightly oversized ears with soft blush inner coloring, warm expressive eyes, a calm kind face, and a subtle golden glow surrounding him like a peaceful protector, gave a gentle hop and a tender smile.
"Hello,” he said softly. “My name is Hope."
The child blinked in wonder.
“A bunny… named Hope?”
Hope’s nose wiggled gently. "God sent me to remind you of something very special." The child sat up, listening closely. "What is it?"
"That you are never alone,” Hope said. “God is always with you—when it’s bright, and even when it’s dark."
The child held their blanket close.
"But sometimes I feel scared." Hope hopped onto the bed and curled up beside them, warm and steady like a tiny, glowing heartbeat. "It’s okay to feel scared,” he whispered. “God made your heart so strong. When you feel afraid, you can talk to Him—just like you did tonight."
The child’s breathing slowed.
"So… God hears me?"
Hope nodded. "He always hears you. And He stays with you, watching over you with a love that never goes away." The child looked at the little bunny, not wanting him to disappear. "Will you stay with me?"
Hope’s smile grew softer. "Yes,” he said. “I won’t just visit… I will stay."
The child’s eyes widened.
"Stay? Like… always?" Hope gave a gentle nod and snuggled close. "You can hold me when you feel afraid. You can talk to me when you need courage. And I will always remind you that God is right here with you."
The child wrapped their arms around the soft bunny, holding him close.
A warm, peaceful feeling filled their heart.
The child’s eyelids began to close. "Even tomorrow?" they whispered sleepily. Hope nestled gently in their arms. "Even tomorrow,” he said. The room no longer felt dark or big. It felt safe… and full of love.
The child drifted off to sleep, holding Hope close.
And from that night on, Hope stayed—not just as a visitor, but as a quiet guardian, a gentle angel sent to watch over, to comfort, and to remind.
Through every bedtime, every worry, every prayer, Hope remained. A soft, constant presence beside the child—a known and loving guardian angel. A quiet reminder of something true and unchanging: God is always with you. And now, so is Hope. Even tomorrow, too.
