Benny the Bunny, with his soft gray fur and big curious eyes, watches a group of animals laughing and playing not too far away. He wiggles his nose, feeling a flutter of nervousness in his tummy. Though he wants to join, he isn’t sure how to start.
Milo the Mouse, tiny and quick with a cheerful squeak, notices Benny sitting alone. "Hi there! I’m Milo. Would you like to play with us?" Benny fidgets with his paws, glancing at the lively group.
"I’d like that, but I’m not sure how to join in," Benny admits softly. "It’s easy! Just ask someone what they’re playing or say hello. We love making new friends," Milo encourages, his eyes shining with kindness.
Sally the Squirrel, bushy-tailed and energetic, bounces over. "Benny, you can be on my team! We’re playing forest tag. All you have to do is run and laugh with us," she grins. Benny smiles shyly, feeling his worries melt away.
"This is so much fun! I’m glad I asked to join," Benny exclaims as he dodges behind a tree. "That’s what friends are for! Next time, maybe you can invite someone new too," Milo replies warmly.
"I learned that making friends just means being brave and kind," Sally says, munching on an acorn. "And sometimes, the best way to make a friend is just to say hello," Benny adds. The group shares a quiet moment, feeling grateful for each other and the start of new friendships.
