Lanny Leaderlender, a boy of seven dressed in oversized, clunky knight's armor, surveys his domain with sparkling eyes. Every corner of the backyard holds the promise of adventure. Today, the world is his to shape, and the only limit is his imagination. "Herman, are you ready for another journey?"
Together, Lanny and Herman have called up their neighborhood friend Lilly Lumblebee, to go on a journey to save a princess! Little Laurel Lichtenstein, has gotten lost in her castle. King Kai is desparate to find his daughter. It's a new castle for the Royal family, and the princess does not yet know her way around. After looking all throughout the vast castle for half a day, King Kai enlists Little Lanny, and the Knights of Fairmont to locate the princess and make sure she is alright. After missing for so long, the princess is probably hungry! Lanny, Herman, and Lilly, are now the Knights of Fairmont!
Herman Hufflebump, his loyal friend, appears beside Lanny Leaderlender, wearing a fuzzy hat and wielding a cardboard spear, with Lilly rolling up beside him in her silver chariot, shows Sir Herman the Heroic, her secret compartments on her braveheart buggy. "Wow that's really awesome!..Ehem, I mean, that is most wondrous Lady Lilly!, he exclaimed "Well, what are we waiting for?", shouted Lilly. So, off they went. On a quest to find the princess.
As Sir Lanny the Leader, Herman the Heroic, and Lady Lilly trekked accross the Grasslands of Doom, Sir Lanny let his noble friends know that Princess Laurel Lichtenstein, was last seen near the Dragon's slide. Sir Herman gasped. "That's where the Giggle Dragonlives!" Lanny noddedbravely. "Then that's where we must go". Continuing their journey accross the Grasslands (Lanny's backyard grass), something caught their attention at once. RUSTLE. RUSTLE. From behind the Great Bush of Mystery, leapt a squirrel. However this, is no ordinary squirrel. In Fairmont, it was Sir Fluffington, Guardian of Acorns.
"Halt!" squeaked Sir Fluffington. "To pass, you must answer a riddle!" Lilly rolled up to him, twirled her magic wand (dandelion stem with it's puff), and said, "We accept your challenge!" The squirrel twitched his tail. "What runs but never walks, has a mouth but never talks?" Herman squinted. Lanny scratched his chin. Lilly's eyes sparkled. "A river!" she declared. Sir Fluffington bowed low. "You may pass, brave knights of Fairmont." [And] with that, he vanished into the bush.
They reached the Dragon's Slide. It shimmered in the sunlight. Lanny swallowed. "Ready?", he asked. "Ready," said Herman. "Ready!" said Lilly. They climbed the spiral steps of the Tallest Tower. At the very top- They heard a snffle. Behind the curtain (an old beach towel tied to the railing), sat- Princess Laurel Lichtenstein (Lilly's stuffed bunny). "I was lost!", cried the Princess. "Fear not", said Sir Lanny. "The Knights of Fairmont have found you!". They all slid down the Dragon's slide together, laughing the whole way down. After a few more adventures back accross the Grasslands of Doom, they returned Princess Laurel Lichtenstein back to her father, King Kai ( A skinny tree trunk with a red towel wrapped around it to serve as a cape). "By my hand and upon my word", said King Kai, "thou hast wrought marvels beyond measure. You brought back my little princess safely, and for thy service, all shall be rewarded!". The Knights cheered with joy, as King Kai clapped twice and immediately jingling could be heard by all. It was the King's court jester, arriving in his chariot playing music (ice cream man), and bringing us frozen delights of fruits and sweetened cream ( ice cream).
