In the heart of the village, a group of Samoan children gather near the village malae, their laughter echoing through the air. Toeaso , a spirited two-year-old with wild curls and an infectious smile, watches as the older kids play rugby.

Tapu is Toeaso's baby brother. While Toeaso is playing with her village friends Tapu lays on a mat made of pandanus leaves doing his tummy time.

In the evenings the sound of a conch shell blowing means it is time to go home for prayer time.

After prayer time, it's time for dinner. Toeasoeats Taro with palusami. Tapueats mashed breadfruit.

After dinner time, Toeaso has made a mess. It's time to clean up. After she puts her dish away it's time for a bath.
