Lila wakes up with a smile, feeling the warmth of the sun on her face. She looks out the window and sees the world waking up—a gentle breeze sways the trees and the sky is painted with pink and blue. Clutching her favorite teddy bear, she whispers, "Good morning, Teddy! I wonder what today will bring."
Mama, caring and gentle, kneels by the roses, her hands covered in soft dirt. Lila skips over and asks, "Mama, who makes the flowers so pretty?" "God made the flowers, and He made you too, Lila. And do you know who loves you very much?" "Jesus?" "Yes, Jesus loves you more than you can imagine."
Ben, cheerful and kind, greets her with a wave. "Lila, let's go down the slide together!" As they climb and play, Lila remembers what her mama said. "Jesus loves us all, Ben. He wants us to be kind and happy." "I like that, Lila. Let's share the swings, too!" Their laughter fills the air as they play together.
Mrs. Green, elderly and gentle, smiles at Lila. "Thank you for helping me, dear. You have a loving heart." "Mama says Jesus loves when we help others, Mrs. Green," Lila replies, her eyes shining with joy. "That's right, Lila. Whenever you show love, you share Jesus' love, too."
Mama holds Lila close and reads, "Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me.' He loves you just the way you are." Lila smiles, feeling safe and loved. "I love Jesus, too," she says, snuggling into Mama's arms.
Lila closes her eyes, whispering a gentle prayer. "Thank you, Jesus, for loving me and everyone in the world. Help me share your love tomorrow." With a peaceful heart, Lila drifts into a dream, knowing that Jesus' love is always with her—day and night.
