Max sits cross-legged on his bed, a storm of emotions swirling inside him as he clutches a drawing of two fantastical heroes.
Sharkboy stands by the window, moonlight glinting off his finned hair, eyes bright with excitement.
Lavagirl hovers nearby, her hair crackling with gentle embers, casting a warm pink glow.
"Max, our world needs you. Imagine the adventures we could have together—Planet Drool could finally be saved!"
"You belong with us, Max. You’re the dreamer who made it all possible. Will you come?"
Max’s Mom, a kind woman with gentle eyes, looks at her son, voice trembling.
"Max, you can’t just run off to another world. We love you too much to let you go."
Max’s Dad, stern but caring, folds his arms tightly.
"It’s not safe, Max. You have responsibilities here. You’re still a child."
Lavagirl kneels beside Max’s parents, her voice earnest.
"Max is more than a child—he’s a hero in our world. Please, trust him to do what’s right."
Sharkboy steps forward, determination in his eyes.
"We’ll protect him. Planet Drool is beautiful, but it needs Max’s imagination to survive. He’ll be safe with us."
"I know it sounds crazy, but I’ve always felt out of place here. With Sharkboy and Lavagirl, I can make a difference. Please, let me go—just for a little while."
Max’s Mom squeezes his hand, torn between fear and pride.
"If you promise to come back, Max, maybe we can try to understand."
Max’s Dad kneels down, voice thick with emotion.
"Be brave, Max. Remember, you’re our hero too."
Sharkboy grins, offering Max his hand.
"Ready for lift-off?"
Lavagirl laughs, her sparks illuminating the endless horizon.
"Welcome home, Max. Let’s show you what dreaming can do."
Max gazes around, wonder filling his eyes, his heart bursting with hope for the adventure ahead.
