Milo the Monkey swung from branch to branch, his brown fur shining in the sunlight. He loved to watch the jungle come to life every morning. The sweet scent of flowers filled the air, and everywhere Milo looked, he saw friends and adventure.
Tara the Tortoise crawled slowly toward the group, carrying a big green leaf on her back. "Good morning, Tara! What are you bringing for breakfast today?" asked Milo. "I found a delicious patch of clover by the river. Would anyone like to share?" Tara replied.
Leo the Lion Cub pounced playfully, his golden mane ruffling in the breeze. "I want to pick the games today! I’m the fastest, so I should be the leader," he declared. "But we all take turns, Leo. It's only fair," Milo reminded him gently.
Tara the Tortoise watched quietly, her wise eyes full of concern as the other animals grew silent. "Friends," she said softly, "in the jungle, we are happiest when we listen to each other and share. Everyone has something special to offer."
Milo looked at Leo, realizing how upset his friend felt. "You’re right, Tara. Maybe we can let Leo pick today, and I’ll pick next time," he offered. "Thank you, Milo. I’m sorry for being bossy," Leo said, his voice sincere.
The friends played hide and seek, with Milo swinging high and Leo leading the search. Tara cheered them on from the shade, her shell gleaming in the sunlight. Everyone had fun because they worked together and listened to each other.
"Today, we learned that being kind and fair makes the jungle a wonderful place for everyone," said Tara. "Let’s always remember to share and listen to our friends," Milo added.
The animals nodded, happy and grateful for another beautiful day in the jungle.
