A small baby rat named Juni scampered around, observing the bustling activity of the villagers. The drought had forced them to make a tough decision; they needed to leave their beloved home in search of better prospects.
Juni watched intently as the family he lived with packed their cart. He felt a pang of sadness but also excitement for the unknown journey ahead. As the cart started moving, Juni managed to sneak aboard, dreaming of the delights that awaited him in a new place.
Juni awoke with a start as the cart came to a stop. The family was greeted warmly by their relatives, their laughter echoing through the night. Juni waited patiently for darkness to fall completely, eager to explore his new surroundings.
Juni scurried into the kitchen, his nose twitching with excitement. He climbed to the top shelf and found a basket brimming with cakes and candies. Unable to resist, he squeezed through a small hole and ate to his heart's content.
Juni realized he had overeaten and was now stuck. He squeaked in distress, drawing the attention of another rat. Inaya, a clever local rat, appeared with a teasing grin. "Why did you eat so much, silly? You'll have to wait and fast to shrink back," she advised.
After a day of fasting, Juni finally managed to squeeze out of the basket. He was grateful to Inaya for her wise advice and vowed never to be so greedy again. The two rats scurried off together, their friendship blossoming with every step.
