Kelvin toddled around the picnic area, his tiny hands reaching out for the ribbons of a balloon that bobbed enticingly above him. His laughter rang out, a delightful melody blending with the cheerful chatter of family and friends gathered to celebrate his second birthday.
Lila clapped her hands to gather attention. "Alright, everyone! It's time for the treasure hunt!" she announced, her voice filled with excitement. Kelvin clapped his hands in delight, his eyes wide with anticipation.
Kelvin crouched down, pushing aside the leaves to reveal a small, ornate box, its surface decorated with intricate patterns. He let out a squeal of joy and tugged at Lila's skirt to show her his find.
Lila knelt beside him, inspecting the stones with curiosity. "These are beautiful, Kelvin. They must be part of the treasure!" she said, playing along with his discovery.
The children, including Kelvin, giggled and chattered excitedly as they followed Lila from one point to the next, their imaginations running wild with each new discovery.
Kelvin sat in front of his cake, the candles flickering in front of him. With a little help from Lila, he blew them out, his eyes alight with wonder and happiness. The day had been an unexpected adventure, one that filled the park with laughter and left him with memories as bright as the stones he had discovered.
