Milo the Monkey, wearing a little red backpack, stands at the gate, eyes sparkling with curiosity and a hint of nervousness.
"Wow! Look at all the colors! I wonder what new friends I’ll make today," Milo whispers, hugging his favorite yellow banana plushie.
Ms. Daisy Duck[/@ch_2], welcomes everyone with a big smile.]
Ms. Daisy Duck claps her wings together. "Good morning, little ones! Let’s find our cubbies and say hello to our friends," she says, her voice warm like sunshine.
Ellie the Elephant waves with her trunk, and Toby the Turtle peeks shyly from behind a stack of books.
Milo brings out his banana plushie, but notices Ellie looks a little sad.
"Would you like to hold Banana Buddy with me?" Milo asks gently, offering the toy.
"Thank you, Milo! That makes me happy," Ellie replies, her ears perking up.
Toby struggles to cut out a heart shape, his little hands trembling.
"Here, Toby, I can help you," says Milo, holding the paper steady.
"Thanks, Milo! Now I can add my heart to the tree," Toby beams, sticking his heart next to Milo’s.
Ms. Daisy Duck notices Ellie has dropped her crackers.
"You can have some of mine, Ellie!" Milo says, sliding his plate over.
"You’re a great friend, Milo," Ellie replies, giving Milo a grateful hug.
Ms. Daisy Duck sings as the children wave. "Today we learned that being kind makes everyone’s heart shine! See you tomorrow, friends!"
Milo smiles, feeling proud and happy as he waves goodbye, excited for another day of kindness at Sunny School.
