Kutti Anil, a spirited and curious boy with sparkling eyes, clutches a battered schoolbag to his chest. He watches as his mother sweeps the yard, the earthy aroma of wet leaves filling the air. Beyond their home stands a grand old mango tree, its branches heavy with dew, promising the sweetness of summer yet to come.
Kutti Anil often played beneath the tree, but today he notices something odd—a patch of glowing moss at the base of the trunk. Curious, he approaches and gently touches the moss. Suddenly, a warm, tingling sensation travels up his fingers, and he hears a soft whisper among the leaves.
Chutku, the Magic Mango Bird, guardian spirit of the tree, hops closer with a mischievous glint in its eye. "You have a kind heart, Kutti Anil. What is it that you wish for most?" Anil blinks in surprise, his voice trembling as he replies, "I wish for sweet mangoes for my family. We haven’t had any in a long time."
Kutti Anil stands in awe, his hands outstretched. "Remember," the bird chirps, "the tree’s magic grows with every act of gratitude. Share its bounty wisely." Overjoyed, Anil gathers the mangoes, his heart brimming with thankfulness.
Kutti Anil beams as he offers fruit to his neighbors, his gratitude infectious. "These mangoes are from our tree, but their sweetness grows when we share," he tells them. The villagers savor the juicy fruit, and the air is thick with appreciation and joy.
Kutti Anil sits beneath the tree, feeling the warmth of the day’s happiness. He closes his eyes and whispers, "Thank you, Magic Mango Tree. I will always remember to be grateful and to share." As he drifts into sleep, the tree’s leaves rustle in approval, promising abundance for all who are thankful.
