Leo, a cheerful little boy with bouncy curls and a blue backpack, looks around the room. He notices that nobody is laughing or playing. Even his best friend, Maya, is staring at her shoes. "Why does everyone look so sad today?" he wonders to himself.
Leo takes a deep breath and stands up tall. He walks over to Maya, grinning from ear to ear. "Good morning, Maya! Guess what? I’m giving out my biggest smile today!" Maya looks up, surprised, and a tiny smile starts to form.
One by one, classmates start to smile back. Leo grins at Teacher Emma, their kind teacher with gentle eyes. "Good morning, Teacher Emma!" "Good morning, Leo. What a wonderful smile!" she replies, her own face brightening.
Maya giggles as she tags Leo, who laughs and waves at a new friend nearby. Soon, everyone is smiling, even kids who were shy before. "Your smile is magic, Leo!" Maya calls out.
As Leo walks down the hall, he sees everyone smiling and chatting. Teacher Emma kneels down and says, "See what you started, Leo? You made the whole school happy." Leo’s heart feels light as a feather.
Leo looks back at his classmates and says, "A small smile can make a big difference!" As the door closes, the school is still buzzing with laughter and smiles, thanks to one little boy’s kindness.
