Leo blinked at the world around him, feeling the weight of his emotions like a storm inside. His colors shifted rapidly—red for anger, blue for sadness, yellow for fear. "I can't handle this," he whispered, his voice barely audible over the rustling leaves.
Sage opened his eyes slowly, his demeanor serene. "Hello, young one," he greeted with a gentle nod. Leo perched beside him, his colors settling into a muted green. "I don't know how to find peace," he admitted, his voice tinged with desperation.
"Leo, like Jesus, you can find peace by talking to God," Sage advised, his words soothing. Leo listened intently, his colors slowly calming. "Express your feelings to Him, trust in His guidance, and you will find your colors harmonizing," Sage continued.
Leo took a deep breath, his colors shifting to a gentle lavender. "Dear God," he spoke softly, "I'm feeling overwhelmed by my emotions. Please help me find peace." The brook's gentle babble seemed to respond, offering comfort.
Leo smiled, his heart light. "Thank you, Sage," he said, "I feel better now." Sage nodded approvingly, his eyes twinkling. "Remember, Leo, peace is always within you," he reminded.
Leo gazed at the horizon, his heart filled with hope. "I can handle anything now," he declared, ready to embrace the day with confidence and peace. The forest seemed to echo his resolve, its beauty a testament to the tranquility he had found.
