Little Bill[/@ch_1] and his friends gather. Shadows stretch long, and a chilly breeze rustles the leaves in the empty park.]
Little Bill and his friends, April, Andrew, and Kiku, are playing hide and seek near the old, creaky swings. The laughter fades as the sky darkens, and a strange, ghostly wail echoes from behind the slide.
April shivers and clutches her flashlight. "Did you guys hear that? It sounded like a ghost!" The friends freeze, their eyes wide with fear, glancing at every shadow as the wind grows colder.
Andrew points with trembling hands. "Look! Over there by the sandbox! It’s a real ghost!"
Little Bill grabs his friends, and together they dash away from the playground, their shouts echoing into the night. "Run! Before it gets us!"
Team Umizoomi[/@ch_4], decorated with gears, screens, and colorful shapes.]
Little Bill gasps for breath, clutching his chest. "Geo! Milli! Bot! We saw a ghost in the playground! It was floating right above the sandbox!"
Geo, a boy with a blue helmet, kneels down with concern. "Don’t worry, Little Bill. Team Umizoomi is on the case! Let’s use our mighty math powers to solve this mystery."
Milli, with her pink ponytails, and Bot, the friendly robot, join in, gathering clues.
Milli picks up the cloth, inspecting the edges. "Hmm, this looks like a piece of an old bedsheet. Maybe the ghost wasn’t a ghost at all!"
Geo traces footprints in the sand, and Bot scans for clues with his light-up antenna. The children watch, curiosity replacing their fear.
Bobby[/@ch_8], a mischievous older boy from the neighborhood, steps out from behind a tree, sheepishly holding another piece of white cloth.]
"I’m sorry, guys. I thought it would be funny to dress up like a ghost and spook everyone. I didn’t mean to scare you for real," Bobby admits, his cheeks turning red.
April sighs in relief, and Little Bill grins, realizing the truth. "I guess it wasn’t a real ghost after all—just Bobby being silly!"
Geo smiles. "Remember, when something seems scary, it’s always good to look for clues and ask for help. Most mysteries have a simple answer."
Little Bill hugs his friends, and together they play hide and seek again—this time with no ghosts, just giggles and good friends.
