Little Bill tiptoed along the sidewalk, clutching his flashlight tightly. The beam shook in his trembling hand as he glanced nervously at the shifting shadows around him. Suddenly, a gust of wind sent a flurry of leaves swirling, and with it, a faint, ghostly giggle drifted through the air.
As Little Bill turned, his eyes widened in terror. One by one, more and more ghostly figures appeared until he counted nearly a hundred, swirling around him in a dizzying dance. His heart thudded in his chest, and he let out a shriek, dropping his flashlight as he bolted from the playground.
Little Bill[/@ch_1] runs breathlessly toward his house. The night air is crisp, and the sound of his hurried footsteps is the only thing breaking the silence. He bursts through the door, cheeks flushed and eyes wide with fright.]
"Geo Umizoomi! Help! I saw a hundred ghosts in the playground! They were everywhere, and they were laughing and floating and—"
Geo Umizoomi, with a bright blue suit and a reassuring smile, steps in from the hallway, calm and ready to listen.
Geo Umizoomi[/@ch_2] sits with Little Bill on the couch, a notepad and marker in hand, ready to investigate. The room feels safe, a stark contrast to the spooky playground outside.]
"Don’t worry, Little Bill! We’ll solve this mystery together. Can you tell me exactly what you saw? Were there any clues that showed they might not be real ghosts?"
"Well, some of them were wearing funny hats, and I think I heard someone singing the Blue’s Clues song," Little Bill said, his voice trembling a little less.
Little Bill[/@ch_1] and Geo Umizoomi approach, the white sheets and costumes are tossed off, revealing dozens of familiar Nick Jr. friends—Dora, Blue, the Backyardigans, and more. Laughter and cheers fill the air as the friends wave colorful banners and balloons.]
Dora the Explorer, cheerful and energetic, steps forward.
"¡Hola, Little Bill! We wanted to surprise you for the Nick Jr. Friendship Night. Did we scare you too much?"
Little Bill blinks in surprise, then bursts into a relieved grin.
