Little Bill shuffled through piles of clothes, his hands trembling. Today was the big costume party, but his ghost costume had vanished! He called out, "I can’t find my costume anywhere! What am I gonna do?"
Blue[/@ch_2], Pablo, and Maggie, rush into the room, each wearing cheerful expressions and carrying small bags of treats.]
"Don’t worry, Little Bill! We’ll help you look for it," chirped Blue, her tail wagging excitedly.
"Sometimes I lose things too. Let’s think—where did you see it last?" wondered Pablo, adjusting his bright red beanie.
"Maybe if we remember when we lost our own things, it’ll help us find yours," suggested Maggie with a warm smile.
Blue shared, "One time, I lost my favorite crayon. I found it under the couch after looking everywhere."
Pablo added, "I lost my hat in the backyard, and I didn’t find it until I retraced my steps. Maybe you wore the costume somewhere?"
Maggie nodded, "I once left my scarf at school. I just needed to think really hard about the last time I had it."
Little Bill peeked under his bed and behind the curtains, while Pablo checked the closets and Blue sniffed around the sofa. Maggie carefully opened drawers and cabinets.
"I just don’t remember where I put it," sighed Little Bill, his shoulders drooping.
"Let’s all think together. Did you try the closet again, Little Bill?"
Little Bill hesitated, then opened the closet wider. There, hanging neatly between his raincoat and a sweater, was his ghost costume.
"You guys, I found it! It was in the closet all along!" he exclaimed, his eyes shining with relief and excitement.
"Yay, Little Bill! Now you’re all set for the party," cheered Blue, and everyone laughed together.
"See? Teamwork always helps," said Pablo, handing out treats.
"Next time, we’ll check the closet twice," giggled Maggie.
"Thanks, everyone. I couldn’t have done it without you!" beamed Little Bill, ready for the best costume party ever.
