Little Bill is walking home alone, his backpack bouncing with each hurried step. The wind howls through the bare trees, making the paper ghosts dance menacingly. Suddenly, a translucent white figure darts out from behind a bush, its voice a hollow wail that sends chills up Little Bill's spine.
Little Bill[/@ch_1] bolts down the sidewalk, barely glancing back as the ghostly shape floats after him. The world blurs in streaks of orange and blue light as he dodges past a hedge shaped like a giant bat.]
"Help! Somebody help! There's a ghost after me!"
Little Bill bursts onto a well-lit corner where the Umizoomi van gleams under a streetlamp, its colorful decals shining like a beacon of safety.

Geo Umizoomi (Math whiz, friendly and brave kid hero) steps outside, his blue helmet shining.
"Whoa, Little Bill, are you okay? What happened?"
"A ghost chased me! It was right behind me, I swear! It was floating and making this awful noise," Little Bill stammers, still glancing over his shoulder.
Geo Umizoomi[/@ch_2] and his friends huddle around Little Bill. Outside, the wind rattles the van and eerie laughter drifts from the houses nearby.]
"Let's solve this mystery together. Team Umizoomi, let’s check out the spot where you saw the ghost,"
Gathering flashlights and a gadget that detects movement, Geo Umizoomi leads the way, with Little Bill sticking close, eyes wide as they approach the bush where the ghost first appeared.
April[/@ch_3], Little Bill’s older cousin, grinning sheepishly and holding a voice changer.]
April (Prankster cousin, playful and mischievous) waves at them, cheeks pink with embarrassment.
"I just wanted to give you a little scare for Halloween, Bill! Didn’t think you’d run so fast!"
"April! That wasn’t funny—I thought you were a real ghost!"
The group bursts into relieved laughter as the tension melts away.
"See, sometimes what looks scary is just someone playing a trick. You were brave, Little Bill,"
"Thanks, Geo Umizoomi. I guess it’s not just ghosts you have to watch out for in October,"
With smiles and goodbyes, Little Bill heads home, the echoes of his laughter mingling with the rustling leaves.
