Little Dee the scientist, with her hair pulled back tight, Stepped into her lab space, ready and bright! She reached for her pocket—oh no, what a mess! Her sparkly blue pen had gone missing, she guessed.

Deelooked by her PCR machine so bright, Beep beep, whirr whirr—but no pen in sight!

Dee peeked in the chamber where no air could go. Whoosh, hiss, bubble—but the answer was no!

Dee opened the freezer, so icy and white. Brrr, chill, frost—still no pen to write!

"E.coli and S.aureus, my little friends, have you seen my sparkly blue pen ? " The bacteria wiggled and said "We have not seen your pen!"

Dee stopped and thought, "Let me retrace...I put on my lab coat, I came to this place..." She giggled and laughed, "Oh silly me! My pen's been right here—can't you see?"

Dee reached in her pocket with a great big grin. Her sparkly blue pen had been hiding within! "Now I can finally write in my lab journal—hooray! So many experiments to start today!"
