Tuneng bounced out of her home, her pigtails swinging as she clutched a tiny, red toy car. Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she looked at the driveway where her father, Mr. Lee, was checking the tires of their family car.
"Papa, can we learn the alphabets with the cars today?" Tuneng asked eagerly.
Mr. Lee nodded, pointing to a flashing vehicle that was rushing by. "Look, Tuneng, there's an ambulance. A is for ambulance," he explained, smiling as Tuneng waved at the driver.
"Ambulance, ambulance!" Tuneng repeated, her voice full of wonder.
Tuneng pointed excitedly. "Papa, B is for bus, right?" she asked, her little finger tracing the letter B on the side of the bus.
"That's right, my clever girl," Mr. Lee replied, ruffling her hair with affection.
"C for car, D for delivery truck, E for electric car," Tuneng chanted, skipping alongside her father.
"You're getting better at this, Tuneng," Mr. Lee encouraged, his heart swelling with pride.
Tuneng clapped her hands in delight. "F is for fire truck!" she exclaimed, dancing in the rain as her father held an umbrella over her.
"Exactly, Tuneng. You've learned so much today," Mr. Lee said, his laughter mingling with the patter of raindrops.
Tuneng snuggled up on the couch with her toy car, her eyelids drooping with sleepiness. "Thank you, Papa, for the best ABC adventure," she murmured, a yawn escaping her lips.
"Anytime, my little explorer," Mr. Lee whispered, tucking a blanket around her as she drifted off into dreams of cars and letters.
