Lola wakes up with a big stretch, her pink ribbon shining in the sunlight. Today, she wants to learn all about shapes! The birds sing a happy tune as she looks around, wondering where her adventure will take her.
Lola pads over to the pond and giggles, spotting the soft round shape. "Circle! Like my breakfast bowl and the sun in the sky," she says, tracing the circle with her paw. She spots a ladybug crawling on a lily pad, its tiny body a perfect dot.
Lola sits on the blanket, her tail curling happily. "Squares are strong and neat, like a window or a block," she explains. She stacks her sandwich squares, counting each side, and smiles at how they fit together just right.
Lola tiptoes to the bushes and touches a leaf. "Triangles have three sides! Like the roof on my house or a slice of cheese," she sings. She arranges three pebbles on the ground, making a tiny triangle and feeling proud.
Lola stands tall next to the fence, comparing her height. "Rectangles are long and strong, like a door or a book," she says. She remembers how her storybook looks just like the fence, tall and wide.
Lola points her paw at a bright, shiny star. "Stars look special! I see them at night and on my favorite sticker," she whispers. She dreams of all the shapes she learned today, feeling happy and ready for more adventures.
Lola smiles sleepily. "Shapes are everywhere. Tomorrow I’ll find even more!" With her pink ribbon glowing, she drifts off to sleep, ready for new discoveries beneath the stars.
