Luna Brillante gasped as she peered out into the night. The moon was aglow with an intensity she had never witnessed before. "Why is the moon glowing so much tonight?" she wondered aloud, her heart fluttering with curiosity.
Her little dog, Coco, wagged his tail, following her eagerly. "Let's solve this mystery, Coco!" Luna declared with a determined nod.
Peering through the lens, Luna spotted tiny sparkles twinkling across the moon’s surface. Her eyes widened with excitement. "What are those?" she whispered, captivated by the spectacle.
Startled, Luna looked around. "Who said that?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Suddenly, a shimmering Moon Fairy appeared, her presence as ethereal as the moonlight.
"The moon shines brighter tonight because it's a Supermoon!" the Moon Fairy explained with a warm smile. "A Supermoon?" Luna repeated, her mind buzzing with newfound knowledge.
"That’s when the moon looks bigger and brighter because it's closer to Earth in its orbit," the fairy continued. Luna clapped her hands in delight. "Wow! So the moon isn’t really changing size—it just looks bigger from here!"
The fairy smiled softly. "Exactly! And the light you saw was moon dust sparkling in the night." As Luna waved goodbye to the Moon Fairy, Coco barked happily. Luna couldn’t wait to share her discovery.
"The moon has its own secrets," she giggled softly, her mind filled with dreams of glowing moons and magical fairies. As sleep gently claimed her, she whispered, "The moon is full of mysteries. And now, I know one of them!"
