Max couldn't contain his excitement as he reached Memaw's front door. The vibrant colors of her garden seemed to dance in the sunlight, each blossom a testament to her creativity. As he opened the door, he was greeted by the familiar scent of her home, a comforting mix of lavender and oil paints.
"Memaw! I'm here!"
Memaw appeared from the kitchen, her apron splattered with colorful paint. Her eyes twinkled with joy as she pulled Max into a warm hug.
"My little superhero!" she exclaimed, ruffling his hair.
Memaw handed Max a brush, and together they painted vibrant scenes of Spiderman swinging through the city.
"I feel like Peter Parker with this," Max laughed, holding up his Polaroid camera.
Memaw chuckled as she watched Max snap picture after picture, his eyes wide with wonder at each emerging image.
"You're capturing magic, my dear," she said, admiring the photos.
"I love spending time with you, Memaw," Max said, leaning against her.
"And I love you more than all the stars," she replied, wrapping her arms around him.
Max tucked the Polaroid photos into his pocket, a smile on his face as he looked forward to their next adventure.
"Until next time, my little Spiderman," Memaw whispered softly as she waved goodbye.
