MILO peeked out from his snug burrow, his nose twitching as he gazed up at the MOUNTAIN OF WHISPERS.
He listened to the faint, mysterious sounds drifting from the mountain each night, never daring to investigate.
Curiosity tugged at him, but so did a gentle flutter of fear.
MILO stepped outside and spotted the dazzling feather.
His friend Tessa scampered over, whiskers quivering in excitement.
"It must belong to Skywing, the great mountain bird," Tessa exclaimed, her eyes wide.
MILO looked up at the looming MOUNTAIN OF WHISPERS, heart pounding.
"I should return it," he whispered, voice trembling just a little.
He tucked the feather under his arm, mustered his courage, and took his very first step toward the unknown.
The air was cool and filled with gentle, comforting whispers, not scary at all—just like a lullaby from the mountain itself.
MILO paused now and then, his heart fluttering, but each time he took another step, the mountain seemed less frightening.
The world around him shimmered with promise as he pushed onward.
Halfway up the mountain, MILO met a shy snow hare shivering on the ledge.
"I lost my way," the hare whispered, barely audible above the wind.
Though nervous himself, MILO offered a gentle, encouraging smile and guided her along the snowy path.
Together, MILO and the snow hare reached the glowing cave, where Skywing awaited.
Her feathers shimmered like the morning sky, casting gentle reflections all around.
SKYWING looked warmly at them, her gaze kind and wise.
"You brought my feather back," she said, voice like a summer breeze.
MILO felt his paws tremble as he stepped closer.
"I was scared," he admitted softly, "but I wanted to do the right thing."
"That is true courage," Skywing replied, nodding with pride.
"Hold on," chirped Skywing, as MILO and his new friend climbed onto her back.
Wind rushed around them as they soared into the sky, the mountain shrinking below.
The thrill of flight filled MILO with a new, glowing confidence.
From above, the mountain no longer looked frightening, but serene—like a giant resting beneath a soft, cloud blanket.
MILO gazed down, his heart warm and proud, feeling braver than ever before.
He realized the world was full of wonders just waiting for a small, courageous marmot to explore.
Courage grows with every small step you take.
Even when things feel big or unfamiliar, you can still be brave, just like MILO.
Your heart shines brightest when you try, one little step at a time.
