Milo, a small green mango, hides behind a leaf. His eyes are wide and nervous as he watches other mangoes turn yellow.
"I don't want to ripen. What if it's scary?"
Tara the Parrot flutters close, tilting her head.
"Come on, Milo! Ripening is fun!"
Bunny Bittu hops in excitement, ears bouncing.
"You'll be sweet and juicy!"
"But what if I fall? Or what if I change too much?"
"Everyone changes, Milo," chirps Tara.
Grandpa Banyan Tree speaks with a deep, gentle voice.
"Growing up is part of life. Change makes you strong and special."
Milo looks up, eyes shining with curiosity.
Tara and Bunny Bittu huddle near Milo.
"Hold on tight, Milo!"
Milo[/@ch_1] clings to his branch, shaking but determined.]
"I can do this. I am brave!"
Grandpa Banyan Tree whispers encouragement above the roaring wind.
Tara flaps her wings with joy.
"You did it, Milo! You stayed strong!"
Milo[/@ch_1] notices his skin glimmering golden-yellow. He feels warm and proud.]
"I’m ripening! I’m not scared anymore," he says, smiling.
Tara[/@ch_2] and Bunny Bittu cheer and jump around Milo. The orchard bursts with laughter and bright colors.]
"You look amazing, Milo!"
"Thank you for helping me," says Milo.
Grandpa Banyan Tree[/@ch_4] stretches a big leafy branch around Milo, hugging him gently. All the friends gather close.]
"See? Change helps us grow into our best selves."
Milo beams, surrounded by friends.
"Being brave feels wonderful,"
"Change helps us grow into our best selves."
