Milo the happy little mouse scampered over to the picnic, his tiny nose twitching with excitement. He could see his friends already gathered around a table full of delicious snacks.
"Hi everyone! What a lovely day for a picnic!" Milo squeaked as he joined his friends. Bella, the wise old owl, nodded with a smile, "Remember, Milo, today we're learning about table manners!"
Milo watched as Freddy, the busy squirrel, started making cheese. "Let's add some magic words," he chirped, showing Milo how to say "please" and "thank you" while they worked.
As Milo reached for a slice of cheese, he remembered Freddy's advice. "Could I have a piece, please?" he asked sweetly. Lily, the kind rabbit, smiled and passed him the cheese, "Of course, Milo!"
Milo felt proud as he noticed how using polite words made everyone happy. Bella patted his back gently, "See, Milo? Table manners make our picnic even more enjoyable!"
As the stars began to twinkle, Milo snuggled up with his friends, feeling warm inside. "Thank you all for teaching me," he whispered. The meadow echoed with the sound of laughter and gratitude, as everyone drifted into dreams of cheese and friendship.
