Minaz stood at the center of the corridor, her eyes sparkling with excitement. She wore a bright yellow dress that matched her sunny disposition. Around her, her friends Lila, with her curly hair and infectious smile, and Ravi, whose laughter echoed joyfully, were ready for a game of hopscotch.
"Let's start! I'll go first," declared Minaz, as she hopped effortlessly through the squares, her friends cheering her on. Lila clapped enthusiastically, while Ravi prepared to follow.
Lila skipped forward but suddenly stumbled over her own feet. She fell, skinning her knee slightly on the rough floor. Tears welled up in her eyes as she sat on the ground, clearly upset.
Minaz was beside her friend in an instant, offering a comforting smile. "It's okay, Lila. I'm here," she said softly, extending a hand to help her up. Ravi quickly fetched a band-aid from his backpack, offering it with a shy grin.
Lila stood, supported by Minaz and Ravi, her tears replaced by a determined smile. "Thank you, both of you," she said, her voice filled with gratitude. They resumed their game, each hop now accompanied by supportive cheers and encouragement.
The trio continued their game, laughter and joy echoing through the corridor. Minaz felt a warmth in her heart, knowing that even in play, they had learned an important lesson about caring for each other. Together, they skipped into the fading light, the best of friends.
