Mira twirls with laughter, her cheeks rosy and her eyes sparkling with delight. She leaps from puddle to puddle, her raincoat flaring out like a sunflower. The steady rhythm of the rain feels like music, and Mira moves as if guided by an invisible melody.
Grandma, with warmth in her eyes, calls out to her granddaughter. "Are you ready for our picnic, little dancer?" Mira beams and rushes over, grabbing Grandma's hand tightly. Together, they stroll toward a lush, grassy field just beyond the town.
Mira gasps in delight at the sight of tambourines, maracas, a ukulele, and even a tiny drum. Grandma gently wipes the raindrops from the ukulele and hands it to Mira. "Music tastes better outdoors, especially after the rain," she says with a wink.
"Let’s make up a song about dancing in the rain!" sings Mira, tapping her feet to the beat. Grandma adds her voice, warm and steady, weaving playful lyrics about raindrops and rainbows. The music drifts over the field, blending with the soft sounds of nature.
"Grandma, I wish it would rain every day if it means we get to do this," Mira says, grinning. "Rain or shine, music makes every day special," Grandma replies, tucking a stray curl behind Mira's ear.
"Can we have another musical picnic tomorrow?" asks Mira, hopeful. "Of course, my dear," Grandma promises, their hearts full as the first stars appear above the peaceful field.
