Baby Bear nestled under his covers, little paws clutching his favorite stuffed bunny. His eyes peeked at the corners of the room, where shadows danced and made the night feel big and strange.
"Mamma, I feel scared. The dark is everywhere,"
Mamma Bear sat beside him, her arms strong and warm, wrapping him close.
"My sweet cub, you are safe in my arms," she whispered, hugging him close so he could feel her heartbeat.
"Let’s close our eyes together and go on a dream adventure,"
"But what if the dark comes with us?"
"We will make our own light, with our dreams," she promised, stroking his soft ears.
"Imagine a beautiful garden, Baby," Mamma Bear murmured, her voice like a lullaby.
"See all the flowers—red, pink, yellow, orange, purple, and blue—dancing in the soft moonlight,"
"Are the flowers happy, Mamma?"
"Oh yes," she replied, "They are waving at the moon, safe and gentle, just like you in my arms."
"The moon hugs the garden, just like I hug you," Mamma Bear breathed softly.
"The flowers feel safe and cozy in the night. You are safe too, little bear. I am right here,"
"I like the flowers dancing. They look happy and sleepy," Baby Bear whispered, a sleepy smile on his face.
"Close your eyes, my baby. Let the moon and the garden keep you safe,"
She kissed his cheek and rocked him in her arms.
"I love you, and you are all safe here,"
"I love you too, Mamma," he murmured, already drifting to dreamland.
Wrapped in the softest hug, Mamma Bear and Baby Bear slept peacefully, the flower garden blooming in their dreams, safe and warm all night long.
