Runa clutched her grandmother's hand tightly as they navigated through the lively throng, her eyes wide with wonder at the kaleidoscope of sights and sounds around her.
Grandmother smiled at the shopkeeper, exchanging pleasantries as Runa gazed at the intricate designs of the lanterns. "Can we make one too, Grandma?" she asked eagerly.
Grandmother guided Runa's small hands, "Each lantern is a wish, Runa. What will you wish for?" she asked softly.
Runa marveled at the sight, her lantern held proudly in her hands. "I wish for happiness and adventure," she whispered to her grandmother, her face illuminated by the soft glow.
Grandmother chuckled, "Tonight is magical, isn't it, my dear?" she said, watching Runa dance with the other children.
Runa stood with her grandmother, her heart full of joy and wonder. "I think the moon heard our wishes," she said, looking up at the starry sky.
