Little Alex stirred slightly, his small frame nestled comfortably against the plush cushions. The room was serene, the only sound being the gentle rustling of leaves outside the window.
Batgirl, clad in her casual attire, worked with precision, her movements graceful and assured. Alex began to stir, the enticing smell drawing him from the depths of sleep.
"Mmm... pancakes," he murmured, sitting up and rubbing his eyes, the cozy warmth of the sofa still lingering on his skin.
"Good morning, sleepyhead. Ready for some breakfast?" She called out, her voice warm and inviting.
Alex clambered onto a chair, his face lighting up at the sight of the feast before him. "These look amazing!" he exclaimed, reaching eagerly for the syrup.
"I'm glad you like them," Batgirl replied, watching as Alex devoured his pancakes with gusto. The simple pleasure of the morning enveloped them, a gentle reminder of the warmth found in shared moments.
